Would like to understand how a vital machine choose which mode to run. Actually recently I am facing problem with few of our VM wherein the cpu/mmu virtualisation is off ( meaning none is selected under vm options). And inside the vmware log I see that virtual exec='hardware'; virtual mmu='software'. Now when I select the option for cpu/mmu virtualisation = automatic under vm options, I see the virtual machine vmware logs changes with the virtual exec='hardware' virtual mmu = 'hardware'.
Also nor sure why on some of my virtual machine the cpu/mmu virtualisation is off.
