Dont ask me how and/or why, but we came across a Windows 2008 R2 template that somehow has the incorrect offset (32,256) (if you can explain to me HOW thats even possible that would be awesome)
But my question is... how do you go about aligning this. We have tried to use NetApp's MBRALIGN but that just makes the VM unbootable.
Next try will be UBERALIGN.... hoping someone would have some insight on HOW a 2K8 machine could be unaligned, unless it was upgraded from 2K3...
