Installing RHEL 6 (64-bit) as VM

This is my first installation of a VM on an ESXi host.

I'm trying to install RHEL 6 (64-bit) on a host running ESXi 5.1.0. Following the VMWare procedure described in the online documentation I picked the typical configuration radio button and named my VM 'Linux01'. Next, I choose the datastore destination called RHEL_OS_cx4-601. Next, I picked the radio button for Linux and the version RHEL 6 (64-bit). Then for the network connection I picked 1 NIC connection, the network connection is 'VM Network' and adaptor is VMXNET 3 and the 'connect at power on' box is checked. In the following window the virtual disk size is 16 GB and 'Thick Provision Lazy Zeroed' radio button is selected. The finish button is clicked and then I power up the VM.

The problem is when I go to the console, the messages '...no DHCP or DHCP proxy offers received' and PXE-MOF Exiting Intel PXE ROM Operating System not found' appear and that is it.

Have I actually installed RHEL from an image provided by ESXi? Is there an option to install the O/S from a CD?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks
