Hi,
I have a problem with LAN and wireless connectivity on a virtual machine running Windows Server 2008 (Standard Edition). I am using VMware workstation 10 on the PC which has recently been upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 OS.
1. I don't have wireless icon (I don't see wireless adapter in the network options) and I am also not able to establish LAN connection using cable. I didn't experience this as I was using VMware Workstation 10 on Windows 7 (before upgrading) when I was able to get internet connectivity on my virtual machines.
2. Therefore, I experienced an issues during AD DS installation because "none of network adapters is assigned with valid IP addresses" (picture screen_2). Just to mention that I assigned a static IP address to my LAN adapter but remained disconnected (see picture screen_1).
Just to remind that I could install AD DS normally on the same PC running Windows 7 with VMware Workstation 10.
Any idea how to resolve this? Is there compatibility between Windows 10 and VMware Workstation 10?
Many thanks,
Lazar
