Assign My only Public IP to a Virtual Machine (VM)

Hi, I am working both with Esxi 5.5.0 and Endian firewall community edition. I have only one public IP from an ISP. Currently we are using this IP as a WAN interface of an old firewall. My plan is to change this old (hardware) firewall with a VM. Now I am experimenting with an instance of Endian Firewall Community Edition as a VM installed on a host (ESXi 5.5.0, two NICs). The problem is on how to assign my only public IP to the uplink interface of the VM and bypass one of the physical interfaces of the host.

Is it possible by the way? if not what do you recommend? Thank you in advance for helping figuring out this.
