I need to migrate VMs from vCenter 5.0 to another vCenter running 5.5. Here are two options:
1. Use VMware converter to connect to both vCenters, and migrate the VM from one to the other
2. Zone and mask my LUNs to be visible to ESXi clusters in both vCenters. Power Down the VM in old vCenter, then register it in the new vCenter and power on.
Which method is better? What risks are associated with either of these methods?
