Deleting VM snapshot

Hello,

Below are the steps I performed;

1) Took vCenter server snapshot

2) Upgrade VMware tools on it and rebooted

3) Deleted this snapshot

4) Took a new snapshot

5) Upgraded hardware.

6) But after that I could not RDP vCenter server. I accessed it through console > logged in > and checked that there nothing displayed on entering IPCONFIG /ALL. Also Network Connections page used to hang and could not change IP or anything.

7) So I reverted to the snapshot (this is the only 1 snapshot remaining, step4) > And then vCenter was ok back again.

2 questions

1) First of all how to deal with issue encountered in above Step 6.

2) I need to delete snapshot. How to delete it. As only 1 snapshot was taken prior to hardware upgrade and I reverted VM to that. In snapshot manager I can see (attached the image herewith)

Thanks,

Mihir
