I have this problem which basically the VMTools installed but not starting, giving me the error: Error 14001: side-by-side configuration is incorrect. From the vCentre client it is showing: Green not running (current). At the moment the server is up and running (Windows 2008 32 bit) and I can access by RDP. Any attempt to remove the VMtools and reinstalling ends up having the server disconnected from the network (including RDP). Any idea? Thanks.
