Dear team,

In the morning one of the VM found in a hang state, reset the VM now it's working fine,

While find the the RCA y its was hanged we have found below Eventlogs , before resetting a VM we are getting below events after reset not found below events.

"Event ID – 129, Source - LSI_SAS, Error - Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued.”

as per VMware we it's a known issue to resolve this we have update our driver please find the VMware KB details.

Windows virtual machine event log reports the error: Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued (2063346)

I have tqo regarding this

Q1) we have 50+ Windows Server 2008 R2 VMs do i need to install this driver on all VMs, so that this type of events won't occur in future on other VMs

Q2) do i need to install latest VMware tool on all VMs  to keep my VMs driver updated ???

regards

Mr VMware
