After Virtualizing numerous Windows 2003 Servers we have then been unable to upgrade any to Windows 2008, looks like the upgrade has worked successfully but when the Server reboots after it just stays on the Microsoft Corporation screen. The upgrade works fine if the Server hasn't been virtualized. We use the same install files to build both Physical and VM servers.
