Guest OS high memory utilization

Hi Experts ,

I am facing a very strange problem in my environment. We are running RHEL 5.8 as guest OS in our VMs and we are seeing in "free" cmd that memory utilization is high. The free memory available is very low , but from "top" cmd output we are not seeing much active processes consuming memory.

Hence Redhat is suggesting this is happening because of ballooning ESXi server is reclaiming the memory from guest OS.

But the query is i couldn't find the ESXi servers are too busy.

Can anyone please suggests on these kind of situations.
