Windows client - updating VMtools reset NIC settings

Hi,

I had this issue after updating vmtools to version 10304 (10.2.0):

on 4 servers (3 Win2012 R2 and one 2008 R2) static IP and all NIC settings were gone after the update.

I have restored config manually, but have to create RCA anyway, is that a common issue?

Network cards are VMXNET3, vSphere 6.5
