I have problems installing VMware Workstation Pro, the latest version which I downloaded from www.vmware.com.
The installation go’s well until it wants to install the VMCI driver and the whole screen turns blue and the computer restarts. I already try to install MS Windows 10 completely clean version, which doesn’t help and the computer restarts at the exact some point…
The computer is bit older, the motherboard is a Asus P8P67-M, with a Intel i5-2500 and 24GB memory, 1TB hard drive and a Nvidia 210 Graphics card.
MS Windows 10 is updated with the latest updates, all the drivers are also the latest. The Nvidia card uses driver (latest for the 210) 342.01.
The graphics card is maybe a bit low spec, but the virtual computer I need doesn’t use graphics and is a low impact Linux guest OS.
